Tom joined Novartis Oncology in 1997 as director of new products commercialization. Following a number of roles in marketing, Tom led a global launch and marketing excellence program in Basel. Following this, he has held roles of increasing responsibility in sales management, global strategic capabilities and global franchise leadership. In 2014, Tom was chosen to lead the Rare Diseases Franchise in the US Oncology Business Unit Tom received a BS in economics from Allegheny College, and holds an MBA from Ashland University. He resides in Annandale, NJ with his wife Linda.
